The municipal delegate for Education, Cristina Durán, and the director of the Official School of Languages of Ronda, Amelia Salas, have announced the installation of an information stand on Calle Espinel, popularly known as Calle La Bola, at the corner of Plaza del Socorro. The aim is to showcase the training offer in German, Spanish, French, and English and to answer questions from those interested in enrolling.
The new academic year allows for enrollment until December 31st, provided places are available. The EOI Ronda offers German up to level B1, Spanish at A1 and A2, French from A1 to B2, and English from A1 to C1. Additionally, a new quarterly basic English course for Public Relations is being introduced, specifically catering to the needs of the city's tourism and commercial sectors.
Amelia Salas highlighted that it is a public center dependent on the Junta de Andalucía, with reduced fees, no monthly payments, and the possibility of scholarships, discounts, and exemptions for certain groups. She noted a lower enrollment, particularly in German and French, and announced that they will request the Ministry of Education to reinstate the B2 level in German and implement the B1 level in Spanish due to existing demand.
Cristina Durán encouraged citizens to take advantage of this opportunity, emphasizing the significant utility of foreign language knowledge in both personal and professional spheres, especially in a city whose main economic driver is tourism. She invited passersby on Calle La Bola this afternoon to visit the information stand to learn firsthand about the possibilities offered by the center.
