The Vice President of the Institute for Employment, Socioeconomic and Technological Development (IEDT) of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, Andrés Clavijo, presented Plan AIDA in Chipiona. During his institutional visit, he was received by the mayor, Luis Mario Aparcero, and the delegate for New Technologies, Laura Román.
This initiative, promoted by the IEDT with technical collaboration from EPICSA, aims to facilitate the adoption of new technological tools for municipalities in the province of Cádiz with fewer than 25,000 inhabitants, thereby improving municipal management and citizen services.
Among the planned actions is the implementation of video-minute systems, intended to enhance security, facilitate access to information, and increase the transparency of plenary sessions.
The mayor of Chipiona highlighted the importance of technological modernization and noted the investments already made in the plenary hall, which will now be complemented by telematic systems for recording sessions, electronic minutes, and other digital management services.
Andrés Clavijo explained that Plan AIDA is designed so that municipalities with fewer resources, particularly those under 25,000 inhabitants, can access the necessary technological resources for their digital transformation. "We believe that video-minutes enhance network security and offer a better service to citizens," he stated.
Plan AIDA has a budget of just over three million euros, distributed equitably based on the population of the beneficiary municipalities. Aid ranges from 72,404 to 87,404 euros per municipality, with additional amounts of 20,000 and 30,000 euros for Autonomous Local Entities (ELAs).
