The Neighborhood Association of Valdeconejos-Montijo-La Jara has presented the Three Kings who will embody Their Majesties in this year's parade, marking the 75th anniversary of this historic celebration. The event, which takes place every January 6th, was commemorated at a ceremony held at Chipiona Castle.
The event was attended by the mayor of Chipiona, Luis Mario Aparcero, the delegate for Festivals, Francisco Javier Query, and the president of the Neighborhood Association's board of directors, Juan Romeo.
To mark this anniversary, the association wished to recognize the contributions of the many individuals who, over the past 75 years, have made the annual parade possible through their work and dedication. The board of directors initiated a selection process among members to propose those who have played a significant role.
The chosen individuals to portray the Three Kings of the East in this special edition are Francisco del Moral Palacios (Melchor), Juan Manuel Lanza Castellano (Gaspar), and Francisco Palacios Domínguez (Baltasar). All three have strong ties to the border area between Chipiona and Sanlúcar, where they have lived their entire lives, and have expressed their excitement to represent Their Majesties in such a significant anniversary edition.
