The Junta de Andalucía's Forest Fire Extinction Service, INFOCA, will carry out a prescribed burn in the El Chaparral area, near Camino del Hipódromo. The main objective is to reduce the accumulation of vegetal fuel in the vicinity of homes, in an urban-forest interface zone.
This operation, covering the same area treated in November 2025, will be executed on private land with the owner's agreement and according to a specific burn plan.
During the operation, smoke and the movement of emergency vehicles may be observed. The City Council asks residents to respect the signage and instructions from responsible personnel, avoid accessing the work area, and keep paths clear.
