This Wednesday morning was marked by two significant traffic incidents on the coast. The first, a multi-vehicle collision occurred around 5:30 AM on the A7 highway, near kilometer 1014 heading towards Málaga, as it passed through Fuengirola. Three cars and a motorcycle were involved in the accident.
According to the 112 Emergency Service, the incident resulted in two injured individuals: a 67-year-old man and another person whose details have not been released. Both were transported to the Costa del Sol Hospital for medical assistance. The collision forced the closure of the left lane, causing traffic slowdowns, although normal circulation was restored shortly after.
The second accident took place after 8:00 AM in Torremolinos, at the junction of the A7 (kilometer 1001) and the AP7. This crash between vehicles, according to the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), caused up to five kilometers of traffic jams heading towards Málaga and another four kilometers in the direction of Cádiz. Congestion persisted around 8:30 AM.
