The accident took place around 5:53 PM, according to information from the 112 emergency service of Andalusia. Several witnesses alerted about the collision between the two watercraft, which mobilized various emergency units.
Officers from the Guardia Civil, Local Police, Cruz Roja (Red Cross), beach lifeguards, and health emergency services from the Andalusian Health Service were dispatched to the scene. Despite the swift intervention, medical personnel could only confirm the man's death at the accident site.
The 112 service reiterated the importance of calling in any risk situation. The alert enabled the activation of necessary resources in Fuengirola, although tragically, the affected individual's life could not be saved.
