Furthermore, the councillor noted that favorable weather conditions and a significant increase in last-minute bookings contributed to improving initial projections. This allowed Easter Week to conclude with highly satisfactory occupancy levels, despite the previous difficulties. International tourism also played a crucial role, being instrumental in sustaining activity and strengthening Mijas' position as a competitive European destination.
