The Marbella council has made a total of 689 places available for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, distributed across 12 school routes totaling 516 places and three university routes with 173 places. Additionally, the contracted service for Aspandem socio-educational centers will continue.
As a notable innovation, the transport program will include a mobile application for real-time bus tracking. Users will be able to know the exact location of the vehicle, receive incident notifications, and report student absences.
Existing discounts will be maintained, offering reductions of up to 50% for large families and for second and subsequent children using the service.
The university routes will connect Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara with the Teatinos and El Ejido campuses of the University of Málaga. The service will also be available for Vocational Training students if their schedules and routes are compatible.
The price for university transport is set at 640 euros for the full academic year, while for schools and institutes it will be 321 euros. Payment options include annual, quarterly, or monthly installments.
