The works, which started last week, are currently focused on Avenida Alcalde Clemente Díaz Ruiz, one of the main entrances to the town. In total, just over 2,100 linear meters will be repaired and resurfaced in various locations and neighborhoods such as Los Boliches, Torreblanca, and Miramar.
The City Council has allocated 677,008.61 euros to this initiative, which will extend over the next 25 days. The roads to be worked on include the 600 and Gardenia roundabouts, the avenues of Las Salinas (a section), Santa Amalia, and Alcalde Clemente Díaz Ruiz, as well as Madroños, Hierbabuena, Enebros, Aragón, Doctor Fleming, Buganvillas, and Las Palmas streets.
The project includes repainting horizontal road markings and replacing manhole and inspection chamber covers, in addition to resurfacing a total area of 21,970 square meters. The mayor, Ana Mula, and the Councilor for Infrastructure, José Sánchez, have visited the works on Clemente Díaz Ruiz avenue.
