The event, organized by the Department of Sports, will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will offer various game stations with traditional activities such as 'el pañuelo', 'Pollito Inglés', Tic-Tac-Toe, Hopscotch, Bowling, and jump rope.
This fair is part of the ‘Fuengirola en Forma’ program, designed to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits among the population during the month of September.
“"With this fair, we want to offer a healthy leisure alternative, especially aimed at the youngest, but designed for family enjoyment. Popular games are part of our culture and allow us to revive activities that several generations have grown up with, while also promoting physical activity and social relationships."
The Popular Games Fair will feature seven game stations distributed throughout the Plaza de España, inviting children and adults to participate in various outdoor activities in a central city location.
The Department of Sports continues to work towards a concept of sport that goes beyond competition, seeking to integrate physical activity into daily life as a healthy habit, fostering both physical and emotional well-being and promoting values such as coexistence, participation, and shared enjoyment.
