The Casares City Council concluded this week the installation work for the new lighting on the section of the coastal promenade between Arroyo La Jordana and Perros beach. The project involved placing 20 new solar streetlights, thus completing the illumination of this seaside route.
For this project, the same model of high-efficiency solar LED luminaire, already successfully implemented in other areas of Casares Costa, has been maintained. These luminaires incorporate an intelligent operating system that increases light intensity when detecting the passage of people and reduces it to 50% in the absence of movement, ensuring safety lighting at all times with very reduced energy consumption.
With this action, the City Council continues to advance in the improvement of the public lighting network and in the elimination of areas with poor lighting in Casares Costa. This intervention reinforces the safety of residents and visitors, promotes energy efficiency, and improves the well-being of citizens in an area frequently used for walking, running, and sports throughout the year.
The installation of these new luminaires is part of the municipal commitment to continue modernizing public spaces, opting for sustainable solutions that improve quality of life and make Casares Costa a safer, more accessible, and environmentally friendly environment.
