The judicial agreement has allowed for the suspension of the convicts' prison entry, provided they commit no offenses for two years. During this period, they are also prohibited from approaching the minors within 500 meters and will not exercise parental authority, which has been revoked for two years and eight months.
Two of the three young children tested positive for cocaine following a medical examination at the Materno Infantil Hospital in Málaga. The minors are currently under the care of the Social Services of the Junta de Andalucía, which will coordinate their transfer to the United Kingdom with the British consulate.
The incident occurred in the common areas and pool of a holiday complex in Benalmádena, where the children, aged six months, one year, and four years, were found without adult supervision. The National Police arrested the parents, who were at the establishment, after gathering witness statements and conducting investigations.
Some of the minors showed signs of sunstroke and were taken to the hospital for evaluation. The conformity sentence was issued by the Court of Instance of Torremolinos.
