The Health Sciences branch degrees at the University of Córdoba are, once again this year, the first to fill their entry quotas. Following the first allocation in the admission phase for new students, degrees such as Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine, and Psychology have completed all their vacancies.
The academic institution received a total of 5,709 first-choice applications for the 4,183 new entry places offered. The highest cut-off grades in this first round were recorded for Medicine (13.204), Biotechnology and Biochemistry (12.861), Nursing (12.502), Physiotherapy (12.219), and Veterinary Medicine (12.430).
In addition to the health-related degrees, many other programs have also exhausted their places in this first phase. These include Business Administration and Management, Biology, Law, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Philosophy, Psychology, and Chemistry, among others. Several joint pathways have also been filled, such as Business Administration and Management and Law or Enology and Agri-food and Rural Engineering.
On the other hand, a total of 19 degrees at the UCO have not filled their quotas in this first allocation and still have places available, most with an entry grade requirement of 5. These include Environmental Sciences, English Studies, History, Translation and Interpretation, and Tourism.
