The fair, which has seen growth since its inception in 2024 with 40 companies, aims to consolidate its position with this figure, as stated by the Delegate for Economic Development, Félix Romero, accompanied by Blanca Torrent, first deputy mayor of the Córdoba City Council, and Daniel García Ibarrola, territorial delegate for Sustainability and Environment of the Junta de Andalucía.
Félix Romero highlighted the "extraordinary quality" of Cordoban products, such as olive oil, hams, wines, and oranges, and set a goal to transform this quality into "new opportunities" and "capture the value" of high-quality agri-food production, supported by the Provincial Council through Iprodeco.
This edition features 48 planned activities, with 28 focused on gastronomy and 20 linked to culture, traditions, and crafts, including cooking demonstrations, tastings, and workshops, with participation from seven Cordoban regions and numerous town councils.
The highlights will be the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tunnel, showcasing the excellence and diversity of the province in this sector, and the Wine Tunnel, featuring over 180 samples from 60 wineries. A new addition is the Eco Route, which will give visibility to 19 exhibitors of organic products.
The fair is conceived as a tribute to the province's farmers and ranchers, and a way to combat depopulation by creating employment and economic activity through the consumption of Cordoban products. Blanca Torrent emphasized the "productive talent" and the "strategic alliance" between administrations and private enterprise, while García Ibarrola underscored the link between Cordoba's agri-food sector and sustainability.
The fair will be divided into an exhibition area with the 63 companies, a space for regions and institutions, an activities zone with a stage, and a showcooking area. The olive oil tunnel will offer tastings of various Cordoban EVOO varieties and award-winning oils, and the wine tunnel will allow tasting samples from historic and young wineries.
Opening hours are from 10 AM to 8 PM (Friday and Saturday) and 10 AM to 5 PM (Sunday). Admission is free, and a complimentary shuttle bus service will operate hourly from the Diputación de Córdoba and the CEFC.
