The Local Government Board will approve this initiative from the Delegation of Festivities and Traditions next Monday, April 20. This measure aims to boost the number of booths, currently at 82, which is two fewer than the previous edition and represents a historic low for the El Arenal fairgrounds.
“"This new deadline allows more booths to sign up and also gives those who currently have administrative procedures initiated but are missing a specific document the ability to react."
The initial application period for booth setup began on April 13. Since then, seven entities have voluntarily withdrawn from the list, including the brotherhoods of La Misericordia, Santo Sepulcro, and Rescatado, as well as several companies. Additionally, the entity La Puñetera ESPJ has been requested to submit an alternative name to avoid conflicts with already authorized brands.
Despite the reduced overall number, the fair's layout maintains its essence, with minor adjustments in distribution and dimensions. The largest booth this year will belong to the Asociación Cultural La Quadra, located at Calle Tendillas 12, spanning 1,400 square meters. The youth sector will feature nine booths distributed across various areas of the fairgrounds, such as La Despechá, Abril, and La Prensa on Calle Guadalquivir, DTardeo Copas on Calle Judería, and El Cotarro and La Santa Eventos Jara ESPJ on Calle Puente Romano. Calle Tendillas will host La Tentación, Caseta Tentadero, and Ajetreo.
