The delegate for Economic Development, Promotion, and Employment of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, Félix Romero, highlighted the professionalization and quality leap of the fair, which has become a major showcase for Córdoba's agri-industry. "We have given visibility, thanks to many activities, demonstrations, and workshops, to everything that the province of Córdoba represents, a province that recognizes the value of what it produces, of those who work the land without renouncing their identity, which generates employment and economic development in our municipalities," he stressed.
During the three days of the fair, around fifty activities were held, thirty related to gastronomy and the rest to the promotion of culture, traditions, and trades. The assessment was "very satisfactory", with a fair that was "lively, very dynamic", where the public responded by "filling each of the enabled spaces and supporting the efforts of our producers", according to Romero.
The cooking demonstrations, tastings, and workshops, made possible by the active participation of the seven Cordoban regions and numerous town councils, have allowed visitors to experience the "enormous richness and diversity of our pantry". The Olive Oil Tunnel, featuring oils from the DOs, and the Wine Tunnel, with over 180 samples from 60 wineries, were well-received. The Eco Route, a new addition this year, gave visibility to 19 exhibitor companies focused on organic products.
Romero thanked the involvement of all participating entities, town councils, regions, wineries, oil mills, and companies, as well as the "excellent public response", which reaffirms the need to continue promoting spaces like this to generate business, wealth, and growth for the province.
