The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) has established the order of rivals for the upcoming season. The team coached by Gonzalo Rodríguez will face historic teams with ACB level, promising exciting nights at the Vista Alegre arena.
The competition will kick off on September 25th at home against Caja Rural CB Zamora. The regular season will also conclude at home on May 7th, hosting the historic Movistar Estudiantes.
After the debut, Coto Córdoba will face two consecutive away games against direct rivals for permanence: on October 2nd they will visit Súper Agropal Palencia, and a week later they will play against Bueno Arenas Albacete Basket. The home start to the competition will be completed with matches against Insolac Caja 87 and Gran Canaria, before closing October on the court of Inveready Askatuak Gipuzkoa.
The November calendar and the Christmas period will include a demanding streak of four away games in five rounds. The team will play in the Balearic Islands visiting Fibwi Mallorca and Hestia Menorca, in addition to facing Lucentum Alicante and Coviran Granada. The only home game during this stretch will be against Tizona Burgos. The visit to the Granada team, scheduled for December 27th, is shaping up to be one of the most attractive matches of the first half of the season, along with the Andalusian derbies against Caja 87.
The second half of the season will begin on January 29th against Gipuzkoa. February will bring four games, including visits to Tizona Burgos and Gran Canaria, and home games against Albacete and Palmer Basket Mallorca. March will start with the visit of Palencia and will also host Fibwi Mallorca and Alimerka Oviedo, while the team will travel to Fuenlabrada and Zamora.
The final stretch of the season could make home advantage a key ally for Coto Córdoba. Five of the last eight games will be played at Vista Alegre, hosting Oviedo, Lucentum Alicante, Coviran Granada, Hestia Menorca, and Movistar Estudiantes between March 26th and May 7th. The only away games in this period will be against Ourense, Insolac Caja 87, and Grupo Alega Cantabria.
The closing of the regular season against Estudiantes is presented as the major event, potentially being decisive for qualification. Beyond the league, the Primera FEB reserves dates for the promotion playoffs on May 13th or 14th and 27th or 28th, with the Final Four scheduled for June 5th and 6th. Previously, the Copa España Final Four will take place from January 22nd to 24th.
