Córdoba's May invites visitors and residents to immortalize the joy of its festivities. With the rise of social media, the search for the perfect shot has become constant, and the May Crosses offer unparalleled settings for this.
While all the crosses are worthy of admiration, some stand out due to their privileged location, allowing for the combination of floral beauty with the city's most emblematic monuments. For those with limited time, there are three key spots not to be missed.
The Cruz del Recinto del Triunfo is one of the most special, offering spectacular views of the Puerta del Puente and the Roman Bridge, with the Torre de la Calahorra in the background. Organized by the Hermandad del Sepulcro, this cross is located in a highly visited area of the city.
Another point of interest is the Cruz de la Avenida de Fray Albino, situated opposite the Calahorra. Its vibrant colors and proximity to the Roman Bridge, the Mezquita, and the Jewish Quarter make it an ideal place to capture the essence of Córdoba. This cross is managed by the Hermandad del Santísimo Cristo del Amor.
Finally, the Cruz de Plaza de las Cañas, a novelty in 2026, stands out for its creativity and an atmosphere that evokes the work of Julio Romero de Torres. With the Plaza de la Corredera behind it, it offers a festive and unique environment. The Hermandad del Calvario is responsible for its organization.
These three locations are just a sample of the visual richness offered by Córdoba's Crosses, which can be enjoyed until Sunday, providing countless opportunities for memorable photos and videos.
