The entity has issued a statement to unequivocally deny press reports that attributed to them the intention of installing a restoration area within the space designated by the City Council of Córdoba for an exhibition hall of the European Museum of Modern Art.
According to the association, these claims completely misrepresent the actual content of their allegations. Córdoba Ecuestre clarifies that it has not raised any objections regarding the space reserved for the exhibition hall and that the controversy stems from a mistaken interpretation of a technical report. The entity has requested multipurpose uses for areas outside the museum project, solely to ensure the financial viability of the International Horse Center and to offer an excellent service to visitors.
The project is ambitious, with an anticipated investment of nearly 10 million euros in works over 5 years. Córdoba Ecuestre, declared of public utility and non-profit, views this effort as an exercise in responsibility and an unprecedented technical and economic undertaking to enhance the value of the Royal Stables.
The association highlights its international prestige, comparable to that of major world equestrian schools, and its track record of over 25 years. They emphasize that managing a historical and heritage building of this magnitude requires very specific specialization and international technical prestige, ensuring the final project meets the demanding standards of excellence.
