The 'blanquiverde' squad, after enjoying a rest day, will intensify its training sessions and play two preparation matches. The first of these will be the special Trofeo Puertas de Córdoba, serving as a presentation to their fans at El Arcángel stadium.
Following the previous week's first friendly test, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates, the team led by Iván Ania will continue to increase the intensity. Before traveling to Oliva for a training camp, four sessions will be held at the Ciudad Deportiva.
The highlight of the week will be on Thursday with the match against Sevilla FC in the Trofeo Puertas de Córdoba. This game, starting at 9:00 PM at El Arcángel, marks another encounter against a top-division rival, following previous matches against teams like Cádiz, Rayo Vallecano, and Real Betis.
This match against Sevilla, who recently drew with Juventud de Torremolinos, will serve as the official presentation of the team to its supporters. It will be an opportunity to see the progress of a renewed squad with over a dozen new signings.
After the game against Sevilla, Córdoba CF will hold another training session on Friday. On Saturday, they will play their third pre-season match against Cádiz CF at the Estadio de El Palmar in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This clash against a team from the same league will allow for further evaluation of their preparation for the league start.
Once the match against Cádiz is played, Córdoba CF will conclude its third week of pre-season training. On Sunday, they will have another rest day before starting their training camp in Oliva until August 2nd, where they will play Elche CF in their fourth preparation match.
