The Patios of Córdoba, one of the most deeply rooted festivities in the Cordoban calendar, will take place from May 4 to 17, 2026. During these two weeks, dozens of private homes will open their doors to the public, offering a free tour of their courtyards adorned with an explosion of color and fragrance.
The general opening hours will be from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00. To facilitate the visit, six main routes have been established, covering different areas of the historic center: Regina-Realejo, Santa Marina-San Agustín, San Lorenzo, Santiago-San Pedro, Judería-San Francisco, and Alcázar Viejo. Each route offers a unique experience, from courtyards with traditional character to those reflecting Arab and Jewish influences.
“"Respectful behavior is requested, in line with the generosity of those who share their home with visitors, maintaining silence and enjoying the atmosphere."
To avoid crowds, especially in the most popular patios, it is recommended to visit during weekdays or at off-peak hours, such as early morning (11:00) or late afternoon (after 19:00). The estimated duration for visiting a patio is 15 to 30 minutes, although larger ones may require more time. A route of 4 to 6 patios can take between 2 and 3 hours, including travel and potential waiting times.
In the 2025 edition, the Municipal Competition awards highlighted Tinte, 9 in the Ancient Architecture category and Pastora, 2 in Modern Architecture. The Singular Patio award went to San Basilio, 44, and the new Conventual Patios category was won by Plaza de San Rafael, 7. The Honorable Mention was awarded to Marroquíes, 6.
