Renowned Sevillian singer-songwriter Chencho Fernández is set to perform an acoustic concert at Amapola Bar in Córdoba this coming Friday, April 10, as part of the music nights organized by El Colectivo.

Born in Seville in 1972, Chencho Fernández has established himself as a prominent figure in the Spanish music scene. His artistic proposal, which intertwines poetry, rock, and chanson, is distinguished by a deep influence from Andalusian tradition and a remarkable cultural sensibility.
Throughout his career, he has been described as a “Southern Dylan” or a “bard of Andalusian chanson,” thanks to his ability to construct personal narratives with rich literary depth and references to cinema and pop culture.
The artist began his journey in the independent Sevillian scene, being part of bands like Sick Buzos and Las Muñecas de la Calle Feria, before embarking on his solo career. His album Dadá Estuvo Aquí (2015) received critical acclaim, being considered the best of the year by MondoSonoro in its southern edition. Subsequently, Baladas de Plata (2020) solidified his prestige, ranking among the most outstanding works of the year for specialized media such as Muzikalia.
His most recent production, Meridiano de Greenwich (2024), has been described as a luminous and mature work, definitively consolidating Fernández as an essential figure in contemporary singer-songwriting in Spain.
The concert in Córdoba will take place at Amapola Bar, with doors opening at 9:00 PM and the performance scheduled to begin at 9:30 PM. Advance tickets are priced at 10 euros, while tickets at the door will be available for 12 euros.
