This heritage protection measure is established by a resolution from the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture, which has been published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). The initiation of the file aims to safeguard the historical and architectural values of the property.
The building's description, which justifies its declaration as a BIC, highlights that the Casa Mudéjar-Casa Árabe is located at Samuel de los Santos y Gener Street No. 9. It is a unique structure resulting from the merger of five houses, connected by galleries, passageways, and staircases.
The architectural complex includes four courtyards and a tower, dating from between the 14th and 16th centuries, reflecting the rich Mudejar heritage of the region.
