The new season at the Espacio Turina, presented by the Tourism and Culture Department of the Seville City Council, will feature approximately 130 activities, including concerts, series, and workshops, running until June 10, 2027. The venue, renowned for its acoustics, reaffirms its position as a hub for musical life in Seville, blending local talent with prominent national and international proposals.
The programming already began on September 11 with the guitar cycle of the XXIV Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, which until the 27th hosts artists such as Antonio Rey, Canito, and Raúl Rodríguez. As a significant new addition, the Seville European Film Festival (November 6-14) will use Turina as one of its main venues, hosting screenings and activities for press and professionals.
The City Council is also launching the I Joaquín Turina Chamber and Soloist Music Competition, aimed at promoting the legacy of the Sevillian composer. The final, on October 23 and 24, will award six prizes and special accolades, including one for the best performance of a Turina work.

Turina reaffirms its role as the venue for key musical events such as the Festival de Música Antigua de Sevilla (FeMÀS), the Festival de la Guitarra de Sevilla (which will include the premiere of Invocación a Falla by José Antonio Rodríguez in tribute to Manuel de Falla), and consolidates the presence of the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla and the Orquesta Bética de Cámara. Also featured are the Otoño Barroco, festivals by Zahir Ensemble and Taller Sonoro, the Compañía Sevillana de Zarzuela, the Jazz & Clubs series by Assejazz, chamber recitals by the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, and children's music workshops by the Barenboim-Said Foundation.
The Espacio Turina's own programming focuses on chamber and vocal repertoires. The string quartet series will feature six performances, including the return of Casals and Quiroga, and the debut of Attacca Quartet, Quartetto Maurice, Bennewitz Quartet, and Quatuor Danel. Lieder will be represented by Anna-Lena Elbert, Natalia Labourdette, Nuria Rial, Julian Prégardien, José Antonio López, and Anna Lucia Richter. Early music will bring together fourteen ensembles, with the return of Près de votre oreille and Jean Rondeau, and the debut of Tim Mead and Ricercar Consort.
The piano series will offer seven recitals, featuring Juan Floristán and the debut of the young Polish pianist Piotr Alexewicz. The program concludes with premieres from the DxM (Drama por Música) series and a cycle dedicated to the Generation of '27.
The program, with nearly 130 activities, is designed for diverse audiences with accessible pricing, season tickets, and 20% discounts for groups such as young people, those over 65, the unemployed, large families, and performing arts professionals.
The Espacio Turina also launches its own website (https://www.sevilla.org/espacio-turina), which will centralize all season information, allowing users to consult the complete program and download the 2026/2027 season brochure.

The season's visual identity is Intronauta (2022), a work by the Sevillian artist Federico Guzmán, a key figure of the New Sevillian Figuration who passed away last February. His selection as the image for Espacio Turina 2026/2027 serves as a tribute to a creator linked to the city.
