The delegate for Culture of the Provincial Council, Gabriel Duque, accompanied by María Delgado, councilor for Education, Culture, and Tourism at the Puente Genil City Council, highlighted the institution's firm support for the festival. Duque noted that Puente Genil is the birthplace of great male and female singers and dancers, with a strong passion for flamenco, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
María Delgado detailed the festival's lineup, thanking the Provincial Council of Córdoba for its support. She emphasized that the event has become one of the most important and essential flamenco gatherings of the summer in the province of Córdoba and is one of the longest-running in Andalusia.
This year's lineup features the voices of Julián Estrada, Mayte Martín, David Pino, El Pele, and María Terremoto. The guitar accompaniment will be provided by Manuel Silveira, Jesús Zarrias, José Gálvez, Gabriel Expósito, José Tomás, Niño Seve, and Nono Jero. The dance performance will be led by Inmaculada Carmona and her flamenco troupe.
Tickets will be available at the Casa de la Cultura until August 6th, and also at the box office. Participating in the presentation, alongside institutional representatives, were David Pino, Julián Estrada, and Inmaculada Carmona, who thanked the Puente Genil City Council and the Provincial Council of Córdoba for their support and collaboration, and remembered Antonio Fernández Díaz ‘Fosforito’, the festival's pioneer.
