The traditional event, organized by the homonymous Brotherhood, brought together about fifty residents who walked at dawn from the Parish of the Immaculate Conception to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Star Crowned.
The Holy Eucharist took place at the sanctuary, officiated by the parish priest D. Francky Yacinthe. The Parish Choir accompanied the celebration with their songs.
The final day was attended by the mayor of Villa del Río and head of the Culture department, D. Jesús Morales Molina; the president of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Star, D.ª Isabel Pérez Aguilar; members of its Governing Board, as well as numerous faithful and devotees.
After the Eucharist, a morning gathering marked the end of this cycle, uniting faith, tradition, and community.
The Villa del Río City Council and the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Star Crowned thanked the Local Group of Civil Protection Volunteers for their work in ensuring the safety of the activity.
Once again, Villa del Río has experienced this act of faith and tradition, bringing together neighbors and devotees around Our Lady of the Star Crowned, the Patron Saint and Perpetual Mayor of the town.
