The town of Bormujos is preparing to celebrate its 2026 Fair, which will be held from August 26 to 30. To mark this festivity, the City Council has informed about adjustments to the opening hours of various municipal buildings and services, as well as sports facilities, to facilitate public participation in the events.
The lighting and fair entrance arch will be switched on August 26 at 00:00, followed by a tribute concert. Special hours for municipal buildings and the library will be from 09:00 to 13:00 on Thursday, August 27. The study room will maintain extended hours, from 08:30 to 20:30, and telephone assistance will be available from 09:00 to 12:30 on the same day. On Friday, August 28, a local holiday, and Saturday, August 29, both municipal buildings, the library, and the study room will be closed.
Regarding sports facilities, the municipal swimming pool will be open on Thursday, August 27, from 12:30 to 19:45, while sports offices and telephone assistance will follow hours of 09:00 to 13:00 and 09:00 to 12:30, respectively. On Friday, August 28, the swimming pool and sports courts will be closed. On Saturday, August 29, the pool will be open from 12:00 to 20:30, and the sports courts will be open.
The parks and gardens of Bormujos will be accessible to the public from August 26 to 31, from 08:00 to 22:00. The fair's program includes concerts, children's activities such as Children's Day and an aquatic gymkhana, sports tournaments, and contests. Sunday, August 30, will mark the farewell of the fair with the 'Gran Cucaña', 'Todo El Rancho', and a fireworks display.
