The Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, attended the season's opening match of the Torreblanca Club de Fútbol to commemorate the sixty years since the founding of this club, established in 1966.
During halftime of the match played at the Los Caños de Torreblanca Sports Center, between Torreblanca CF and Mairena del Alcor, the mayor received a commemorative jersey and an honorary membership card.
Sanz highlighted that Torreblanca CF is a team with deep roots in the neighborhood, an entity that has trained thousands of young people in sports and values over six decades.
He also recalled that the municipal government completely renovated the turf on the two football fields at this sports center in 2024, where hundreds of young people train and play, in addition to other improvements to the facility.
