The Chiclana City Council hosted the Municipal School Council meeting, chaired by the Education delegate, María José Batista. At the gathering, representatives from educational centers and unions agreed that the local non-school days for the academic year will be February 26 (Friday) and May 3 (Monday). These dates are in addition to the local holiday on June 11, coinciding with the San Antonio Fair.
During the session, information was provided on the actions carried out in Primary schools and their access points during the past summer. Safety measures for student entry and exit, incidents at the start of the school year, new tree planting, and data on enrollment and reports like PISA were also discussed.

María José Batista highlighted the government team's commitment to educational conditions but requested greater involvement from the Regional Government of Andalusia. She recalled pending work in Chiclana's public schools and stressed the need to build a new Secondary school in the beach area, for which three municipal plots have been offered. The delegate insisted that it is the Andalusian government's duty to address these needs, lamenting the lack of action.
The Municipal School Council also reported on incidents that arose at the beginning of the school year.
