The initiative, organized by the City Council of Sevilla and the Sevilla Artisanal Federation, will be open until October 13th. Fray Ceferino González street hosts this exhibition, intended as the "best possible showcase for an industry key to Sevilla," according to statements by the delegate for Commerce, Álvaro Pimentel.
Due to the large number of participants, the fair features 34 stands and a two-shift rotation system. The first group of creators exhibits from today, September 15th, until the 28th. The second block will occupy the counters from September 30th to October 13th. On September 29th, the venue will close for technical installations.
Álvaro Pimentel highlighted the strategic importance of locating the fair in the "tourist epicenter of the city" to showcase the talent of local entrepreneurs. This event serves as a direct commercial platform that boosts sales for the workshops, many run by self-employed professionals who find it a significant opportunity for public exposure.
Visitors can discover a diverse offering that blends traditional craftsmanship with new contemporary design proposals. Specialties include ceramics, pottery, jewelry, fire enamel, textile and leather treatment, as well as works in paper, bookbinding, engraving, and wood carving.
The delegate emphasized that promoting local commerce, professionalizing the artisanal sector, and defending the 'Hecho en Sevilla' brand are the core pillars of the public-private collaboration. "By supporting initiatives like this, we are ensuring our artisans have projection, reach, and, above all, stability in their commercial and professional activities," he stated.
The fair's continuous commercial hours are from 10:00 to 14:30 and from 18:00 to 21:00.
