As of July 31st, a total of 2,779 new intake places have been filled out of the 2,985 offered across the 41 single and double degree programs available at the UAL for the 2026/2027 period. This figure is reached following the publication of results from the ordinary phase and the first adjudication of the extraordinary phase.
Currently, 21 undergraduate degree programs have all their new intake places enrolled, while 29 are at 90% occupancy. Demand is particularly high for degrees such as Medicine and Nursing, each with over 2,000 applicants on waiting lists.
These figures reflect considerable interest from students in the academic offerings of the University of Almería. In the ordinary adjudication phase, new intake places were fully covered in 25 degree programs, leaving available spots in only 16 of them for the extraordinary phase.
Opportunities still exist for interested individuals. On September 3rd, the lists for the second adjudication of the extraordinary phase and the second resolution of the ordinary phase will be published on the Distrito Único Andaluz website. The enrollment period for these adjudications will be from September 3rd to 7th.
The enrollment process will conclude with a period for degree programs without waiting lists and with vacant places, which will open between September 25th and 30th. The total offering for the 2026/2027 academic year includes 41 degree programs, 7 of which are double degrees, and adds the new Degree in Speech Therapy, offered jointly with the University of Seville.
