The University of Almería's Language Center is in the final stages of enrollment for the first semester, with the last available spots. Classes begin on October 1st, and the center offers comprehensive and flexible training, geared towards official certification, for both the university community and the people of Almería.
The program combines in-person classes on campus with an online modality, covering multiple levels and languages such as English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, and Spanish for foreigners. Flexible scheduling is available with morning and afternoon options.
Among this year's new features are B1 levels in German, French, and Italian, focused on practical exam preparation. The UAL is launching the official German B1 accreditation under the ACLES seal, thanks to a new agreement with the University of Zaragoza. This agreement expands the accreditation catalog with annual calls for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish to be held at their facilities.
Methodological innovation is strengthened with two new initiatives: a Reading Club to enhance linguistic and cultural competence, and the project ‘Podcasteando idiomas’ (Podcasting Languages), where students will create content to practice oral expression.
Studying languages at the UAL offers academic advantages such as obtaining ECTS credits and boosting employability. The offerings for the second semester will be available in December, maintaining the early enrollment discount policy of 20%.
