The initiative will offer training in upholstery, building cleaning, and permanent manicure and sculpted nails, with ten places available in each project. It will be aimed at individuals over 52 years of age who are long-term unemployed and registered as job seekers with the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE).
The manicure course will begin on November 4, 2026, at the SEDESA Training Center. The upholstery project will also take place at SEDESA, while the building cleaning project will be held at the Don Bosco Municipal Training Center. Both will start in late November.
Each project will consist of three phases: initial labor orientation with diagnosis and personalized itinerary design; specific training of 120 hours; and 40 hours of orientation and support for labor insertion.
Interested individuals can request information and register at the Area of Economic Development, Employment, and Training of the Écija City Council, located at C/ Camino del Físico, s/n, in the SEDESA building.
This is the second agreement of its kind signed by the City Council, following a previous agreement with the ACDAI Association which included projects in textile manufacturing, auxiliary masonry work, and building painting.
