A spokesperson for Vox has highlighted shortcomings in public services and called for more resources for healthcare in the Granada Altiplano area. The party emphasized the need for citizens of Baza and its surroundings to have access to essential services.
“"National priority is for the citizens of Baza and the entire Granada Altiplano to have access to the public services they need."
From the vicinity of Baza Hospital, the party pointed out deficiencies in care for the local residents and those of nearby municipalities. According to collected testimonies, there is excessive bureaucracy and a scarcity of resources. Vox attributes the lack of professionals as the main problem and holds the governments of the Popular Party and the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party responsible for the “dismal situation” of healthcare in Andalusia, particularly in the more peripheral regions.
Furthermore, the party addressed the situation of the primary sector in the Granada Altiplano, where agriculture and livestock farming are fundamental. European environmental policies were criticized, with blame placed on the central Government and the Junta de Andalucía for decisions made regarding the Green Pact and the Mercosur agreement.
A Vox spokesperson stated that these measures directly harm farmers and ranchers, asserting that their party is “the only political force that firmly opposes” policies that, according to the party, damage the Andalusian countryside. Finally, an appeal was made to the Granada Altiplano, the province of Granada, and Andalusia as a whole for the upcoming election on May 17, presenting it as an opportunity for political change through majority support for Vox.
