With the start of the new academic year, the ERACIS+ Cuevas de Baza program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus and the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Policies, Youth, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía, encourages unemployed individuals in the neighborhood to take a step forward and participate in its Socio-Labor Insertion Pathways. This initiative offers personalized support aimed at improving access to employment and fostering social inclusion.
The program designs support tailored to each person's needs and circumstances, covering their personal, family, educational, professional, and community reality. It works comprehensively so that each participant can identify their capabilities, interests, and needs and move towards their goals. To this end, various support lines are offered: labor orientation including workshops for active job searching, accompaniment and mediation for accessing job offers, information and access to training programs, guidance on social resources and benefits, and emotional support with psychological accompaniment.
Furthermore, meeting and participation spaces are promoted to revitalize the neighborhood and strengthen community relations. The results to date are positive, with a labor insertion rate of 51.23%. Many individuals have managed to secure more than one contract, reflecting not only access to employment but also the continuity of their job opportunities.
The program, active until 2028, aims to ensure participants do not face the obstacles of job searching alone. The sooner one participates, the better the resources can be utilized. If you live in Las Cuevas de Baza and are unemployed, the program team is available to inform you about suitable options.
