The PSOE-A candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía has highlighted the defense of public healthcare and strongly criticized the management of drug trafficking in Campo de Gibraltar during an event in La Línea de la Concepción.

During her speech at the Palacio de Congresos de La Línea de la Concepción, the socialist candidate framed the upcoming regional elections as a "referendum for public healthcare, public education, and affordable housing." She emphasized that these services must be accessible to everyone, regardless of their economic or social status.
One of the central points of her discourse was the agreement with the United Kingdom and the European Union regarding Gibraltar. She highlighted that this pact will benefit over fifteen thousand cross-border workers and promised that waiting times at the Verja (border fence) will be eliminated, a situation that, she stated, consumes the lives of Campo de Gibraltar residents.

"Between the queue at the Verja and the queues for waiting lists, the residents of Campo de Gibraltar spend their lives waiting. That is going to end."

Regarding drug trafficking, the candidate recalled the Special Plan for Campo de Gibraltar launched by the central Government and urged the Junta de Andalucía to assume its responsibilities in areas such as territorial planning and funding for associations assisting people with addictions. She also mentioned the existence of "Villa Narco" in La Línea, where, according to her words, drug traffickers reside in luxury chalets.
Furthermore, she addressed the healthcare situation, criticizing the Junta's response to breast cancer screening and accusing the regional government of indifference and promoting the privatization of the healthcare system. She reaffirmed her party's commitment not to allow setbacks in the treatment of diseases such as breast cancer.
