This event, established as the first major fair in the region, will offer a five-day program full of activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy typical stalls, live music, attractions, a diverse gastronomic offer, and traditional dances, following the successful format of previous editions.
The official presentation of the magazine and poster for this edition is scheduled for April 23. The festivities will formally begin on April 30 with the coronation ceremony and the inaugural proclamation, leading into days of celebration and community.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the pilgrimage in honor of the Cristo de la Almoraima, to be held on May 3. The town hall has opened the registration period for floats, carts, and horse riders, requiring mandatory documentation such as insurance, permits, and equine health cards, in addition to complying with safety regulations like the use of railings and the prohibition of alcohol consumption during the route.
“"The Fair and the Pilgrimage are the heart of our traditions and a reflection of our identity as a people."
The program also includes notable events such as the Senior Citizens' Lunch on April 30 at the Municipal Marquee, and the Women's Lunch on May 1, where “Miss Azahar 2026” will be chosen. With everything prepared, Castellar is set to become the festive epicenter of spring in the province.
