The incident occurred while the bullfighter was performing a 'quite por chicuelinas' to the third bull of the afternoon, from the Conde de Mayalde ranch. The animal unbalanced him and, once on the ground, charged him forcefully, tearing his 'taleguilla' (bullfighter's trousers) in the hip area.
After the goring, the bullfighter was quickly assisted and taken to the infirmary of the arena, visibly affected by the mishap. This event took place within the framework of the third bullfight of the San Isidro Fair 2026.
