The socialist representative described the mayor's attitudes as "disgusting" and "repugnant," adding that his actions are "more typical of an abuser and abuser than a mayor."
Férriz also directed her criticism at the acting president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, whom she accused of "cover-up." She reproached him for refusing to initiate a motion of no confidence against Landaluce, despite the PSOE's express offer.
Férriz's statements come amid a tense situation for the mayor of Algeciras, whose future within the Popular Party remains uncertain. Recent reports suggest the party has decided not to nominate him as a candidate in 2027 due to complaints about sexist behavior.
During the June municipal plenary session, the socialist spokesperson in the City Council, Rocío Arrabal, had raised this information before the entire corporation, leading to a heated exchange of accusations with Landaluce, who dismissed the criticisms as "theater," "rumors," and "gossip."
