The celebration will begin at 10:00 AM with the traditional raising of the European flag. Fifteen minutes later, at 10:15 AM, the inaugural ceremony will take place, featuring the presence of María del Rosario Arias de Molino, director of the center, and Vicente de Mingo Benítez, president of the Andalusian Council of the European Movement (CAME).
Subsequently, at 11:00 AM, the academic block will unfold, coordinated by Pablo Antonio Fernández Sánchez, a member of CAME and the Institute of Campo de Gibraltar Studies (IECG). In this segment, Andrés Bolufer Vicioso, a retired History professor and also a member of the IECG, will deliver a lecture titled The Devotional, Historical, and Artistic Advocacy of the Virgin of Europe.
The academic day will continue with the intervention of Palma Muñoz Morquilla, secretary of CAME, who will present the conference The Institutionalization of Europe Day in the European Union, delving into the meaning and evolution of this commemorative date.
