The mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, Juan Franco, will participate tomorrow in the event organized by the Commonwealth of Municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar. The event will take place at the Oku Andalusia hotel, located in Alcaidesa, on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
Accompanied by the delegate councilor for Tourism, Mercedes Atanet, and technical staff from the department, the mayor will attend a meeting aimed at companies and institutions. The main objective is to analyze the current tourism situation in the region's municipalities and define strategies for sustainable and future development.
The event's agenda includes the discussion of destination models to be consolidated, the identification of available tourism resources, market analysis, and the promotion of sustainability and innovation in the sector.
Furthermore, each municipality will present its completed tourism projects and its forecasts for the year 2027. The importance of continuing to work together under the promotional brand "Campo de Gibraltar, tourist destination" to strengthen the region's image will be emphasized.
