The Vox party has expressed its concern over the "critical situation" that, in its view, the agricultural sector in the province of Córdoba is experiencing. A party spokesperson stated that their group positions itself as the only political force defending the interests of farmers, against those who, in their opinion, legislate "with their backs to the reality of the rural world".
From Montilla, the spokesperson described the scenario in the Cordovan countryside as "limit". They mentioned that recent phytosanitary problems, such as the incidence of mildew in local crops, are just "the tip of the iceberg of a much deeper crisis" marked by a lack of profitability and increasing production costs.

The spokesperson harshly criticized the management of the Junta de Andalucía, accusing the PP Government of being "committed to the climate policies of the left". According to the Vox representative, this ideological shift results in "unbearable" bureaucratic pressure and the arrival of aid that, when it appears, does so "late, poorly, and with more obstacles than solutions".
Vox has called for a radical shift in agricultural policies under the concept of "national priority". The spokesperson defended the need to protect local products against what they call "unfair competition" from third countries. They emphasized that "national priority" means putting local producers first, as opposed to those who, in their view, are ruining the sector.
The spokesperson used their intervention to link the future of the sector with the upcoming Andalusian elections, pointing to May 17 as a crucial date to decide whether the countryside remains "abandoned" or if a "real change" is pursued. They concluded by reaffirming their party's commitment to fighting for the primary sector in institutions, based on the premise that "without the countryside, there is no future".
