During a surveillance and identification operation in Andújar, Local Police officers, in collaboration with National Police personnel, apprehended a driver showing signs of having consumed drugs. The operation also resulted in the discovery and seizure of a quantity of cannabis (THC) found inside the car.

Driving under the influence of drugs carries a fine of 1,000 euros and the deduction of six points from the driving license, in addition to vehicle immobilization. Furthermore, possessing or consuming narcotics in public spaces is classified as a serious offense, punishable by fines ranging from 601 to 30,000 euros.
