The 28-page document was prepared with the support of specialists and the provincial organization of the party. The primary goal is for these observations to be incorporated into the integrated environmental authorization file currently being processed by the regional administration.
The proposals focus on three fundamental pillars: protecting the natural environment, defending local residents, and providing a rigorous technical foundation. Among the requests, the group asks for an assessment of the cumulative impact of the new facility alongside the operations of Oleícola El Tejar, as well as more exhaustive studies on noise pollution and potential methane leaks.
Additionally, the document calls for the creation of an emergency and technological risk plan, a landscape impact study, and specific measures to control heavy traffic in the area. The political group insists that if the project is ultimately approved, strict transparency and social return mechanisms must be established to ensure the well-being of the population in Baena and Albendín.
