Following a period of scattered and occasional rainfall, AEMET confirms the return of precipitation for the weekend. A front from the Atlantic, associated with a deep low-pressure system and driven by a cold polar maritime air mass, will generate significant atmospheric instability. This situation will lead to widespread rainfall, extending from the south and west of the peninsula towards the eastern and Mediterranean regions.
Specifically, AEMET predicts that on Saturday, showers will occur, with the possibility of thunderstorms, mainly during the morning. These conditions will affect a large part of the Cádiz coast, including towns such as Conil, Barbate, Tarifa, and a significant portion of the Campo de Gibraltar.
By Saturday afternoon, the rain is expected to subside, giving way to a sunny evening and night with scattered clouds. Temperatures for this day will range between a minimum of 11 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 14 degrees Celsius.
On Friday, however, good weather will persist, with mostly clear skies and a slight increase in temperatures. Nevertheless, the weekend will bring a radical change in the weather, not only in Cádiz but across almost the entire country, with the arrival of a cold front ushering in wintry conditions, according to the tiempo.es portal.
For Sunday, no precipitation is expected. The day is forecast to be cloudless, with the maximum temperature once again exceeding 20 degrees Celsius, though the minimum will remain largely unchanged.
