The popular party in the province has underscored the relevance of a victory in the upcoming Andalusian elections, arguing that this would provide stability for regional administration projects with the local council. This statement comes as several key locations in the city have gained prominence in the electoral campaign.
One of the key points is the Balneario de La Palma, a building with great tourism and image potential for Cádiz. After decades of underutilization, the Popular Party has announced its transfer to the City Council and its rehabilitation, a long-awaited aspiration for the city.

The transfer of the Balneario de La Palma would also strengthen the Underwater Archaeology Center (CAS), a crucial facility for the city, ensuring its permanence in Cádiz with a new installation at the Muelle Reina Sofía. This initiative is part of the heritage recovery efforts, following examples such as the Castles of Santa Catalina and San Sebastián.
Furthermore, the necessity of good coordination between the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council has been advocated to promote large-scale projects, such as the future hospital in Cádiz. It has been stated that this is an «enormous investment» that the Popular Party has managed to unblock after years of unfulfilled promises from the opposition, ensuring the Junta's commitment to its construction.
Regarding the Valcárcel building, its rehabilitation is already underway. This property, which was a subject of debate and controversy for years, will transition from being a luxury hotel, as previously planned, to an educational use by the University of Cádiz, dedicated to public education.
