In the context of the Andalusian election campaign, the Popular Party aims to revalidate its absolute majority, promising «stability and calm» for the region. The provincial president of the party has indicated that public healthcare is one of the priorities, along with housing, employment, and public education.
“"The structure that the province of Cádiz has at the healthcare level with subsidized hospitals is a structure absolutely designed by the Socialist Party, directly promoted and expanded by María Jesús Montero."
The Popular Party spokesperson recalled that the PSOE has been in opposition in the city of Cádiz for 30 years and questioned their credibility. He also mentioned the «enormous demonstrations in Granada and Seville» that occurred when the then Minister of Health dismissed 8,000 healthcare workers.
Regarding investments, the unblocking of the future hospital in Cádiz has been highlighted as a significant achievement, a result of the «unequivocal commitment» of the Junta de Andalucía. Furthermore, other important actions in the province were mentioned, such as the tender for the works of the Mentidero health center in Cádiz, the creation of the pediatric ICU at Hospital Puerta del Mar, and investments in hospital infrastructure in Algeciras, Jerez, and Sanlúcar.
The Popular Party insists that its objective is to provide «stability to Andalusia» to «continue advancing», while, according to their spokesperson, the PSOE seeks to generate fear with the possibility of a coalition government. It has been argued that the best option to avoid «troubles from other parties» is to vote for the current president of the Junta de Andalucía. Additionally, the latest unemployment data, which places the province of Cádiz as a leader in Andalusia in employment growth, has been celebrated.
