The blaze originated in the kitchen area of the establishment and spread quickly to the storage room and the basement dining area. The intensity of the flames produced a thick column of smoke, prompting an immediate deployment of thirteen firefighters and seven specialized vehicles.
As a precautionary measure, residents of the eight apartments located above the commercial premises were evacuated. Following the extinguishing and forced ventilation efforts, technicians from the Municipal Urban Planning Delegation conducted a thorough inspection, ruling out any structural damage and allowing residents to return to their homes.
The operation was coordinated with the support of the Local Police, National Police, and 061 health services. During the intervention, two local officers and one firefighter received preventive medical attention for smoke inhalation, though they were discharged almost immediately without further issues.
