During his address in Cádiz, Gavira highlighted that both political parties share positions on crucial matters for the province, particularly concerning the primary sector. He criticized the lack of opposition from both the PP and PSOE to the Mercosur agreement, arguing that it could lead to a drop in prices due to competition from imported products, while Europe imposes strict ecological regulations on its own producers.
Furthermore, the VOX representative condemned the alleged harmony between the PP and PSOE regarding the causes and effects of mass immigration. He referenced a recent incident in Málaga, where a Moroccan immigrant, wanted by justice, assaulted a neighbor, causing severe injuries.
“"Socialist corruption and lack of maintenance on the tracks kill."
Gavira also contrasted this apparent unity with the lack of agreement between the PP and PSOE when it comes to taking responsibility, citing the Adamuz railway tragedy as an example. In this context, he lamented that, despite 46 victims, the Partido Popular found no one to blame at the time, while now it demands economic accountability for the failure of the AVE to reach Málaga during Holy Week.
The VOX candidate concluded by stating that, leading up to May 17, the PP and PSOE will feign conflict, but in reality, they agree on everything that harms Andalusians. However, he warned that when it comes to demanding accountability from those responsible for these policies, both parties merely blame each other.
