The fire originated on the roof of the dwelling, where various belongings and furniture were stored. The flames affected different elements on the rooftop, generating an intense column of smoke visible from several points in the city.
Firefighters from the Cádiz station received the alert around 12:30 PM and worked in the area until 1:30 PM. During the extinguishing efforts, they removed three butane gas cylinders that had been exposed to the heat, an operation considered delicate due to the associated risks.
The fire also spread slightly into the interior of the home through a window. The glass broke due to the heat, affecting a bathroom adjacent to the area where the flames started.
Nine members of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium participated in the operation with four vehicles. The operation concluded without any personal injuries.
